Learning Impairments

School can be extremely frustrating for teenagers that are unaware of their learning impairments. These impairments arise from disturbances in the brain’s ability to facilitate incoming and outgoing information. From difficulty focusing to trouble with reading, writing, and/or spelling, approximately 4 million adolescents in America suffer from a learning disability. Medical assistance in diagnosing a learning impairment can be extremely beneficial for teenagers in need of assistance or altered learning environments.
